Dr. Kozman
Medical Director
Dr. Kozman graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. He has held several international positions, where he furthered his studies and gained worldwide experience. Dr. Kozman started practicing in Middle Tennessee in 2016 and resides in Murfreesboro with his daughter.
His diverse background has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of client and patient needs. His passion is educating clients and providing top-notch training to the medical staff.
In his spare time, Dr. Kozman enjoys serving the community at spay and neuter clinics and serving on other non-profit boards.
Emily
Team Lead
Emily’s journey has been shaped by exploration and passion. Originally from New Hampshire, she has traveled extensively across the U.S. before settling in her current home with her husband, two cats, and tarantulas. With four years of experience in veterinary medicine, Emily is committed to continuous learning, research, and educating others in her field.
Outside of her professional life, Emily has a love for classic films, particularly cheesy sci-fi and horror movies, which add a fun, nostalgic touch to her interests. She is also a skilled artist, having drawn professionally for 14 years. Emily’s passion for cooking is matched by her enthusiasm for sharing meals and recipes, and her collection of over 300 cookbooks reflects her dedication to the culinary arts.
Emily feels fortunate to be part of the Pets R Us team, where she values the close-knit relationships she’s formed with her coworkers, whom she considers family.
Maria
Receptionist
Maria has been a dedicated receptionist at Pets R Us for three years. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she provides exceptional customer service and is always eager to assist clients with their needs. Maria’s friendly and approachable demeanor makes her a valued member of the team, ensuring a positive experience for both pet owners and their pets.
Bethany
Vet Assistant
Bethany holds a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and has been working in veterinary medicine for nearly two years. With a strong foundation in animal care and a deep passion for wildlife, she is focused on pursuing a career in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation. Bethany is committed to applying her knowledge and skills to help protect and rehabilitate wildlife, with the goal of contributing to conservation efforts and ensuring the well-being of animals in their natural habitats. Her dedication to both veterinary medicine and wildlife preservation drives her to continue learning and growing in her field.
